About Us
Kavet 'm eus is a card game that was originally designed to train mental arithmetic. It was developed by Andrea Labbé 20 years ago for her son Yannick, who was in first grade at this time. Yannick had the biggest struggles adding or subtracting, as soon as the calculations exceeded the limit of 10. His mother knew that training was a solution to the problem. Except that, in her time, training was not very pleasant and was synonymous with punishment. So for Yannick, it had to be something else! A few evenings of paper cutting and colouring later, the game was operational. So was Yannick after a few weeks of daily play. Hence the name of the game! Kavet 'm eus means EUREKA in Breton! As other mathematical operations were added to Yannick's school progress, the game revealed its potential and became a family affair. Kavet 'm eus is now ready to delight other homes!
